This is an ideal corner for attaching interior joists to the outer dock frame end board. Compared to smaller 4-hole joist corners these corners add a second pair of bolts much farther into the joist, drastically reducing the likelihood of the joist end splitting when people stand above that joist and all that live load is being held up by the two ends of the joist.
Hole pattern matches most major dock hardware manufacturers (Dock Edge, Kwikdox, etc.).
